FRET Satellite workshop

Immediately preceding the 2025 MAF Conference in Montreal, Canada, the FRET Community will be hosting a satellite meeting on August 23rd and 24th. It will take place on the campus of McGill University. This meeting is an opportunity for researchers interested in FRET to join together to learn modern developments in the field and to discuss future directions and needs. There is no registration fee; however, for planning purposes, it is required to register. We are also hoping, depending on obtaining support from sponsors, to offer coffee breaks and dinner on Saturday evening.

We are also accepting applications for contributed talks. If you are interested in potentially giving a talk at the FRET Meeting (ca. 15 – 20 minutes), please submit a title and a short abstract along with the registration. The deadline for submission of potential contributed talks is July 14th, 2025. You will be notified a week later if your contribution has been selected for a talk.

If there are any topics on which you would like to have a special session (e.g. labeling, analysis software packages, analysis techniques), you can also make a request on the registration form.

Registration and a preliminary program (once available) can be found at: https://fret.community/fret-satellite-meeting-methods-and-applications-of-fluorescence-2025/.
