Professor Chen's Group develops and applies single-molecule imaging and manipulation approaches to interrogate and understand the function and dynamics of nanomaterials and biomacromolecules, with focuses on nanoscale catalysis, polymerization catalysis, bacterial metal homeostasis, and bioenergy conversion processes.
